In 2018 Amanda produced two large scale ceramic works in response to the life of mathematician and computer scientist, Alan Turing. In particular, they deal with his treatment by the authorities in 1952 for ‘Homosexual Acts’ and his subsequent chemical castration (Stilboestrol), and the influential friendship he developed with his school fellow, Christopher Morcom (Love Song).
