Three days and three hours sleep but now arrived at Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park.
The living is basic but the studio and facilities look exciting and I'm lucky to share the month with Japanese, Argentinian, Chinese and American artists.
Almost immediately I had to make crucial decisions about clay purchases and firing schedules - and with heavy jet lag I hope I've timed things ok.
